cb mania....!

Eco Factor: Concept car powered by electricity.

Swiss company Protoscar has developed an all-electric LAMPO2 sports car that is a successor of the company’s LAMPO that was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show 2009. The LAMPO2 will also be unveiled at the same venue this year with less weight, improved aerodynamics and improved efficiency.

The all-electric concept features a plug-in rechargeable drivetrain from BRUSA, which can be charged using a conventional wall socket, public charging station, DC fast charge system and even a standard three-phase input. The vehicle will be used for practical demonstrations and testing.

The LAMPO2 is equipped with two electric motors, allowing the vehicle to operate as an all-wheel drive car with variable torque. The two motors provide an output of 408hp and 640Nm of torque. The concept can race to 60mph in just five seconds with a top speed of 124mph and an operating range of 125 miles.
