Ye Peijian, chief designer of the lunar probe with China's Chang'e Project has announced that Chinese scientists are planing human crewed lunar landing mission by 2025 or 2030.
"Through the development of lunar probes, we have made constant progress of the ability to explore the outer space", said Mr Ye speaking at a science lecture held in Shangai last Friday.
China plans to launch second lunar probe named Chang'e-2 next year which will be preparation for landing mission of Chang'e-3 probe which landing is planned by 2013.
"By 2013, China will send the landing craft and rover vehicle to the moon", said Mr Ye Peijian.
