In addition to the new I4 engine, Toyota will continue to offer its more powerful 3.5L V6 as well as a hybridized V6 offering both front and rear electric motors. The Highlander is available as either a two or four wheel drive model.

The 2011 Avalon is offered in Limited, XL, and XLS trim levels. The standard trim XL comes with conventional facilities, while the XLS & Limited versions offer additional features. The trim XLS is loaded with impressive features including a six-CD changer, and a power moon-roof. The Limited trim is the most advanced model that is entirely wrapped with leather upholstery.

The standard Toyota Avalon comes equipped with a leather-trimmed driver and passenger seat; reclining rear seats; a back up camera and a power moonroof.
